I have been Saved... Errrr I have been Saving, I should say.
I had one of those lets-stop-by-the-thrift-shop just because moments. And I found SCADS of needles! Just look at all of these- even a nice long hook. :)
Then I stopped by a Tuesday Morning and found bins full of yarn :) All sorts! This super yummy variegated blue is a 100% wool I found for under $4.
I am itchy to go back to and pick up more... there was a whole bunch of choices. Wonder if any of my friends need to supplement...
Now... any ideas for getting the price sticker glue off the needles?

How about some eucalyptus oil - that's what this Australian would recommend - I thinj a bit of methylated spirits would work as well. The oil smells nicer.

Get a bottle of Goo Gone and our it on a cloth then rub over the glue. It's available in the grocery stores with the cleaning products.
If they are metal needles you can use lighter fluid, but don't use lighter fluid on plastic.
If they are metal needles, try nail polish remover (worked for me in a similar situation!)

The wire I have used for my stitch markers is plastic covered metal wire. You can use it for making your own jevelery. I got it in a kit and there is no name on it.
it is as simple as this , use baby oil to get sticky sticker stuff off plastic and it has a pretty smell!
Thanks for all the ideas! I tried handiwipes things (has alcohol in) and it seems to have worked. If not, I will curse, then come back here to see all the good tips :)
